PAALP is proposing to re-route a 14,000 foot segment of Line 63, to meet requirements of the US EPA Consent Decree(2010) for returning crude oil into Line. The pipe will be installed via a combination of convential trenching and horizontal drilling.
Location
Project area is located north of Castaic, east of Interstate 5. Majority of the re-route will be within existing line 2000 ROW. Re-Route would replace the segment of Line 63 between MP 37.6 to 40.3
