Angeles National Forest Los Angeles, California Santa Clara/Mojave Rivers

After the Sand Fire, ~ 572 acres of native forest needs to be planted because the land is not predicted to recover to a forested condition without intervention. The purpose is to rapidly establish forest cover in fire affected native forest stands.

Location

See maps attached. Planting will be within the Sand Fire Burnt Areas. The deadline to submit scoping comments is extended to Nov 25, 2017.
