El Cariso to Long Canyon Goldspotted Oak Borer Management

Cleveland National Forest Orange; Riverside, California Cleveland National Forest All Units

Prevent tree mortality of high-value oaks from the invasive goldspotted oak borer and suppress a recently detected satellite infestation from further spread to adjacent oak woodlands. Carbaryl(Sevin XL) insecticide would be used.

Location

Developed Recreation sites and Administrative Sites across the Project area as well as 236 acres of adjacent oak woodlands.
