The FWS proposes to collect federally endangered Laguna Mountains skipper butterflies (Pyrgus ruralis lagunae), rear progeny at the San Diego Zoo, and release the progeny within the Laguna Mountain Recreation Area in the CNF. See detail in the PDF.

Laguna Mountain Recreation Area in CNF. The objective is to reintroduce Laguna Mountains skippers to historically occupied habitat.
