The Upper Lake Ranger district, Mendocino NF is proposing to decommission approx. 9.5 miles of roads within wilderness in order to meet the intent of wilderness legislation and policy and to improve watershed health.

Location

Approx. 8 miles northeast of Covelo and approx. 7 miles north of the Eel River Work Station. The project is located within the southwestern portion of the Yolla Bolly Middle Eel Wilderness.
