The Forest Service is proposing to issue a new 50-year Special Use Permit for operation and maintenance of the Arrowhead Tunnels to MWD. The existing two 19-ft diameter, lined and sealed water conveyance tunnels, are about 9.6 miles on NFS lands
Location
The tunnels transport water from the State Water Project facilities at the mouth of Devil Canyon northeast of San Bernardino to the west side of Highway 330 north of the City of Highland
