TENMILE ASPEN RESTORATION PROJECT

Sequoia National Forest Fresno; Tulare, California Hume Lake Ranger District

Fell the conifers competing with aspen in 5 stands by hand thinning. Each stand is unique, but cumulatively approximately 120 small (less than 16" dbh)cedars and firs would be cut. Small material piled and burned/chipped, large material left on site.

Location

In Tenmile subwatershed, along Tenmile Road (FR 13S09).
