Sweetwater Mine Restoration Project

The project includes improving public safety & watershed condition by removing structures and abandoned mining property, eradicating noxious weeds by using mechanical methods & stabilizing sections of an open trench, and road decommissioning.

Location

The Sweetwater Mine is located approximately 3 miles northwest of the Jerseydale Fire Station off Forest Road 5S24.
