Ladybug Forest Health and Fuels Reduction Project

Tahoe National Forest Sierra, California Truckee Ranger District

The Truckee RD developed the Proposed Action through collaboration in winter and spring of 2019. It would treat up to 3,000 acres east of Stampede Reservoir using forest thinning and biomass removal, mastication, and prescribed burning.

Location

Located in Sierra County northeast of Stampede Reservoir, adjacent to the Forest Service System 270 / 860 Road.
