The Alder Creek 89 Wildland Urban Interface Project will reduce hazardous fuels accumulation and restore forests around the Town of Truckee and the highway 89 Corridor in order to create defensible space around this busy community.

Location

North of the Town of Truckee along Alder Creek, and Highway 89 North toward Sagehen Summit. Includes areas around Klondike Flat and Hobart Mills.
