The Forest service proposes to issue Skamania County Public Utility District a special use permit authorizing the undergrounding of several hundred feet of overhead powerline at Mt. Zion to improve system resiliency and reduce wildlife potential.
Location
The permit would authorize operation and maintenance of about 1,500 ft of powerline, including the undergrounded segment and the existing unmodified overhead powerline between Mt Zion & Strunk Rd.
