This project proposes to improve huckleberry understory across the planning area to provide for functioning stand conditions over time that would favor long-term huckleberry production and growth.

Location

The planning area is on the Mt. Hood National Forest, Hood River Ranger District. This area is bordered by the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness, and private land.
