Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Kittitas, Washington Cle Elum Ranger District

To protect public health and safety, remove rotting timbers and then seal openings to the abandoned Benita and Van Epps Mines using polyurethan foam plugs. All work will be completed using winches and hand tools.

Location

Pickwick and Benita Mines, near Van Epps Pass, upper Cle Elum River watershed.
