Boy Scout Camp Blowdown Timber Sale

Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Okanogan, Washington Tonasket Ranger District

On 8/29/2013 a wind event with winds of 60 - 80 mph blew down 135 trees and damaged the "Commissary/kitchen" and the "Crafts" building at Bonaparte Boy Scout Camp. It is proposed to harvest the down and standing danger trees.

Location

The Bonaparte Boy Scout Camp is located in Okanogan County, Washington on the north end of Bonaparte Lake, below Bonaparte Mountain. The site is about 20 miles northeast of the Town of Tonasket.
