Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Okanogan, Washington Tonasket Ranger District

Vegetation management will address landscape departures from historical conditions. Includes the following estimated treatments (acres): timber harvest (2000), ladder fuel reduction (500), precommercial thinning (5711) and fuels treatment (5700).

Location

The project is north of Highway 20, west of County Road 4953 to Bonaparte Lake, east of Island Mountain, and south of Siwash Creek, about 15 miles east of the town of Tonasket, off Highway 20.
