Table Mountain Tree Planting

Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Kittitas, Washington Cle Elum Ranger District

Manually plant western larch seedlings on 1205 acres (out of approx. 30,000 acres of National Forest System land) that burned during the Table Mountain Wildfire of 2012. Target areas are previously managed stands. Work will take place in fall, 2015.

Location

Top of Table Mountain, and east edge of Swauk Creek watershed (approx. 18 miles north and northwest of Ellensburg, Washington, respectively).
