Peony Fire Salvage

Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Okanogan, Washington Tonasket Ranger District

Timber salvage of dead trees is proposed in high severity burn areas, generally over snow from the 2015 fires. The need for reforestation, noxious weed control, or soil stabilization activities, such as planting and seeding will be evaluated.

Location

This project is located south of Forest Road 3015, west of the junction with Forest Road 3010, and between Bannon Mountain and Tunk Mountain.
