Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Okanogan, Washington Tonasket Ranger District

During the summers of 2014 and 2015 approximately 173,300 acres burned in 13 separate large wildfires on the Methow Valley and Tonasket Districts. Up to about 10,000 acres are proposed for tree planting where trees will not naturally regenerate

Location

Black Canyon, Beaver Lake, North Star, Tunk Block, Twisp River, Bear Creek, Cougar Flats, Gold Creek, Little Bridge, Newby Lake, Upper Falls, and Okanogan Complex fires
