Box Canyon Creek Wood Replenishment

Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Kittitas, Washington Cle Elum Ranger District

This project will place large wood in Box Canyon Creek to help restore an at risk watershed. Approximately 360 pieces are proposed and some wood will come from hazard tree removal at East Kachess Group Campground and Kachess Campground.

Location

Box Canyon Creek is a headwater tributary of the Yakima River. The creek enters at the southern end of Little Kachess Lake.
