Salvage harvesting to provide for public safety along roads and utilize the economic value of the timber in accessible areas that burned at a high fire severity as well as treat existing fuels and those created from salvage harvest activities.
Location
The project is located approximately 10 miles north of Wauconda, WA. Salvage harvesting would take place in the Kettle and Okanogan watersheds of the Walker Fire area.
