Olympic National Forest Mason, Washington Hood Canal Ranger District / Quilcene

Issue a 20-year Special Use Permit to the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to install a Snow Telemetry (SNOTEL) site. The SNOTEL will occupy approximately 0.4 acres with an additional buffer zone of 400 feet.

Location

Approximately 25 miles southwest of Quilcene, WA, on an old logging spur road near the Mt. Ellinor Upper trailhead.
