NFJD Ranger District 2013 Riparian Improvement Project

Umatilla National Forest Grant, Oregon North Fork John Day Ranger District

This project will include construction of approximately 2.1 miles of fence to limit cattle access to designated critical habitat for steelhead along Smith Creek and Little Indian Creek.

Location

The project areas are located on the North Fork John Day Ranger District in Grant County, T. 7 S., R. 31 E., Sections 22 and 27, and at T. 8S., R. 32 E., Sections 17 and 18, south of the town of Ukiah
