Glass Restoration Project

Umatilla National Forest Umatilla; Union, Oregon Walla Walla Ranger District

Approximately 2,308 acres of commercial mechanical treatments are proposed, along with 2,755 acres of small diameter hand thinning. All treatments would have a restoration focus and both lumber and chip materials would be produced.

Location

16 miles N of Elgin, OR, 30 miles NE of Mission, OR, spanning three subwatersheds: Upper Lookingglass, Little Lookingglass, and Jarboe Creek. The main access roads include Forest Road 64 and 63
