70 acre commercial thinning treatment (HTH) designed to modify fire behavior and intensity, expand DFPZs, accelerate the stand toward HRV, improve stand tolerance to insect and disease, and provide for landscape and local connectivity corridors.
Location
Project area is 14 miles SE of Union, Oregon and adjacent to west side of Hwy 203 on south side of Catherine Creek summit and adjacent to private lands.
