Benson and Obsidian Trail Reroutes

Willamette National Forest Lane, Oregon McKenzie River Ranger District

The proposed project would reroute approximately 2.2 miles of the Obsidian Trail (FS Trail 3528) and one mile of the Benson Lake Trail (FS Trail 3502). Reroutes would reduce erosion and maintenance.

Location

Trails are located to east and west of Highway 242 near McKenzie Pass. The Benson Trail is located in the Mount Washington Wilderness and the Obsidian Trail is located in the Three Sisters Wilderness
