The Forest Service proposes to reconstruct approximately .5 mile of the Keown Falls trail to re-establish a consistent tread width, proper out-sloping and effective drainage in order to enhance the trail long-term sustainability.
Location
The Keown Falls trail is a popular 1.8 mile loop trail which begins and ends at the Keown Falls Picnic area off of the Ridge and Valley Scenic Byway, State Highway 156, locally known as the Pocket Rd.
