The purpose of this project is to restore and/or maintain oak, shortleaf pine, and mountain longleaf pine communities, and associated open woodland habitats.

Location

Primarily within the Upper West Armuchee Creek watershed, approx. 8,912 acres of NFS lands located in Compartments 904, 905, 919, 920, 921, 922 and 923.
