To relocate approximately 80 ft. of existing tread of the Lake Chatuge Trail onto a more sustainable side-slope alignment by closing approximately 80 feet of existing unsustainable trail and constructing approximately 90 feet of class 3 hiking trail.

The BRRD is requesting public comments on the Lake Chatuge Trail Reroute in Towns County, Georgia. The Lake Chatuge Recreation Area currently offers visitors year-round recreation opportunities.
