Caney Branch Prescribed Fire Interpretive Trail

Cherokee National Forest Monroe, Tennessee Tellico Ranger District

The project would construct a 36-48 inch wide, 1.1-mile-long, native surface trail in the Buck Branch burn unit. The trail would include viewing areas, fire interpretive kiosks,native plantings, selective tree removal, and trail signs.

Location

The project is located east of Tellico Plains, TN near the Tellico Ranger Station and the Caney Branch Overlook.
