National Forests in Mississippi Adams; Franklin, Mississippi Homochitto Ranger District

The analysis and potential thinning/restoration of approximately 13,407 acres of overstocked plantations to improve the overall health of the forest, wildlife habitats, and insect/disease susceptibility. Project was begun as HFRA 1st Thin.

Location

The Clear Springs and Sandy Creek areas are located West of Meadville; roughly bounded by the Homochitto River on the East and South and the Forest proclamation boundary on the North and West
