Bienville is conducting environmental analysis for a proposal by the Pruet Oil Company to conduct a 3D -seismic survey on National Forest Lands. The area involved encompasses approximately 2,600 acres located in the central western are of the Forest.

Project location lies within the west central part of the Forest in Sections 22,26,27,34, and 35 of Township 5 North, Range 6 East and Section 13,18,19,24, and 25 of Township 5 North, Range 7 East.
