Cover 3,000 acres in 5 compartments proposed by district for infested timber and stand conversion/removal, site prep, and replanting. Replanting can involve longleaf, hardwood, and loblolly. Focus is longleaf regeneration if soils are compatible.

Proposed action covers 5 of the 180 compartments that the Bienville NF has in the South area of the district approximately 6.5 miles northeast of the town of Raleigh, MS.
