National Forests in Mississippi Chickasaw, Mississippi Tombigbee Ranger District

The Tombigbee National Forest is proposing a restoration project for the Black Belt Calcareous Prairie and Woodland Habitat in compartment 29. This will be a restoration of ecological systems and rare habitat.

Location

Tombigbee NF lands in Chickasaw Co MS. Compartment 29 of what is referred to as Trace Unit. Approx 3 miles North of Buena Vista. Intersection of county road 402 and forest road 906.
