Landscape level project to implement Nantahala and Pisgah National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan with an additional focus on restoration needs and elk habitat improvement.

Location

Project area is forest service lands in the Southwestern portion of the Appalachian Ranger District in the vicinity of Long Arm Mountain and Hurricane Mountain. Project area is ~20,000 acres.
