This project proposes to salvage trees that pose an increased risk of beetle infestations and/or a threat to public health and safety following Hurricane Florence in recreation areas, along open roads, and in recently thinned stands.
Location
Pine Cliff Recreation area and nearby roads, portions of the Margarita, Red Head, Flicker, Hairy, Big Swamp, and Neuse River timber sales.
