Water Line for Queen Wilhelmina State Park

Ouachita National Forest Polk, Arkansas Mena Ranger District

Proposed construction of a ~49,300-foot, 6" water line and lift station on the south side of Rich Mountain to provide a source of potable water to QWSP. AR State Parks is requesting a 40' temporary (construction) easement and 15' permanent easement.

Location

The proposed water line will begin at AR Hwy 8, approx 7 mi west of Mena, AR, along Polk County Rd 47, to PCR 127, PCR 94, PCR 126, and crossing into NF, up Rich Mtn.
