The Mena Oden Ranger district proposes to move the Gafford Creek Project area towards the desired conditions as described in the Revised Forest Plan. The Gafford Creek Project Area includes approximately 16,606 acres 675 of which are privately owned.
Location
The analysis area for Gafford Creek is composed of Compartments 1044 through 1054 and 1018 it is located to the northeast of Oden, Arkansas, and almost due north of Mt. Ida, Arkansas in Yell County.
