The agency proposes to manage its ruffed grouse management areas (RGMAs) to improve and enhance early successional habitat. About 6,000 of 31,000 acres comprising twelve RGMAs are proposed for habitat improvement.

Location

Various areas across four ranger districts: Medford-Park Falls, Eagle River-Florence, Great Divide, and Lakewood-Laona
