Crystal Lake Fish Habitat Improvement

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Bayfield, Wisconsin Great Divide Ranger District

Build and install fish structures with the DNR and volunteers. Proposal includes trees donated by an adjacent private land owner and the harvest of 70 jack pine trees, ranging in DBH from 4" to 10", from Forest Service lands south of Crystal Lake.

Location

Crystal Lake and the red and jack pine stand 1/8 mile south of the boat launch. Stand is accessed via Forest Roads 211 and 1391.
