2016 Gravel Test Holes

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Bayfield; Sawyer, Wisconsin Great Divide Ranger District

3 areas across the District would be inventoried for potential gravel. Up to 20 holes approximately 8 x 6 feet in size spaced about 200 feet apart dug with an excavator, studied for gravel, and filled in shortly after digging.
