Restoration of Flood Damaged Road and Trail Segments and River Bank Stabilization

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Ashland; Bayfield, Wisconsin Great Divide Ranger District

As a result of the July 11, 2016, flood damage, the district is proposing to decommission and restore segments of Forest Road 383 and Forest Road 150, realign a segment of Snowmobile Trail 25, and stabilize a section of the Marengo River bank.

Location

FR 383 segment from North Country Trail to FR 383B. FR 150 segment south of FR 199. Snowmobile Trail 25 segment north of FR 199C to FR 187. Marengo River Bank southwest of FR 384C
