Joint Chiefs Black Ash Underplanting

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Florence; Forest, Wisconsin Eagle River-Florence Ranger District

The Joint Chiefs project would underplant a select group of diverse tree species seedlings in black ash-dominated stands in preparation for the decline in ash populations brought about by emerald ash borers (EAB). Actions would occur on 115 acres.
