FY25 Public Fishing Access Improvement

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Ashland; Bayfield; Taylor, Wisconsin Chequamegon / Nicolet National Forest All Units

Improvement of public fishing access in four sites by replacing existing piers with accessible, permanent piers. The project also includes improvement of trail access, and restoration of shoreline surrounding piers.

Location

Four sites on Great Divide and Medford-Park Falls Ranger Districts: Day Lake Campground, Namekagon Campground, Chippewa Campground, and Lakeview site on Mondeaux Flowage.
