This project proposes timber stand and wildlife habitat improvement in primarily young, dense red pine, jack pine, and white spruce plantation, as well as reclamation of National Forest System lands currently occupied by non-system roads.
Location
The proposed project is in the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Reservation Boundary and is situated south of the Mississippi River between Cass Lake and Lake Winnie, extending down to U.S. Highway 2.
