Improve habitat for ruffed grouse and other early successional species through patch clearcutting aspen (about 366 acres) and thinning white spruce plantations (about 117 acres) along and near Hunter Walking Trails.

Location

Along and near four Hunter Walking Trails: Carter Lake, Webster Lake, Tower Lake, and Morph Meadows. Portions within the Leech Lake Reservation.
