Hiawatha National Forest Chippewa, Michigan St. Ignace Ranger District

Project would include vegetation management (timber harvesting, regeneration of trees, habitat improvements, noxious weed treatments) and transportation system management (road building, maintaining and decommissioning).

Location

The project boundary is the Sand/clay transition north and south Landtype Association boundaries. M-28 runs through the project and County Road H-40 runs along the south
