Hiawatha National Forest Delta, Michigan Rapid River Ranger District

Clearcut approximately 216 acres of plantation planted spruce due to infestation of spruce budworm which is killing the spruce trees. Some of the proposed harvested spruce areas will exceed 40 acres in size.

Location

Project is located approximately 8 to 12 north of Rapid River, MI and east of US Hwy 41.
