This is a landscape management project that would include vegetative treatments such as oak habitat restoration, red pine thinning, underburning, fuelbreak creation and maintenance, wildlife habitat improvements, trail re-routes, and NNIS abatement.

Location

The project area is approximately five miles northwest of Tawas and approxmately seven miles east of Hale, Michigan.
