The Air Force and and Department of Environmental Quality continue to request the installation of monitoring wells on National Forest System lands south of the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base. The Forest proposes to continue to authorize these.

From Perimeter Road west of Skeel Avenue teh monitoring well locations are near FS 2290 & 2291.
