Huron-Manistee National Forests Wexford, Michigan Cadillac/Manistee Ranger District

Convert two black locust stands (19 acres total) to upland openings. Treat black locust with a combination of herbicide and firewood cutting. After the trees are removed the openings would be planted and maintained with prescribed fire.
